Travel Allied (OT) - Rehabilitation Unit

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

OT Inpatient Rehab

Is on-call required? No

Are weekends required? Yes One regular weekend shift per week

Are block schedules required? No

What are expected ratios? 6 patients in an 8 hour day

Special Procedures/Unit Details: IP OT will see patients in inpatient rehabilitation unit primarily with occasional floating on all inpatient units (clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, med-surg), surgical units (same day unit and short stay unit), and in the emergency department. The facility has a geriatric certified ED, and joint commission certified stroke and ortho programs.

Preferred: Patient Transport to/from Treatment/ ER, ICU, MedSurg, Medical surgical, neurology, orthopedics, adaptive skills, Prosthetic Training

RTO - 6 days total or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved. Anything more, traveler will sign contract with pending RTO. *Anything more than 6 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

Return Staff Policy - 3 months between perm and travel

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility.
