Required Skills/Experience: -Note: Required - Children's hospital experience in the last 3 years - may screen strong clinician with Level I Trauma Adult facility -Skillset Requirements: Must have L&D experience, as they will be primarily in L&D. PICU -Required Skills: Medication Delivery Systems (Aerosol mask/trach, MDI), Medication Administration (Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Mucomyst, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Tobramycin, Xopenex), Ventilator Management (BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting, Weaning), Neonatal/Pediatric Equipment (CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP), Airway Management (Extubation, Suctioning, Oral airway, Sputum collection, Tracheostomy care), Nebulizers (Handheld, T-piece, Trach collar), Work Settings (Pediatric Critical Care).
Preferred Skills/Experience: -Preferred Skills: Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Nitric Oxide (iNo), Heated Nebulizers, ABG Interpretation, General Pediatrics, Servo-U Ventilator.
Required Credentials: Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA.
-Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Shift & Scheduling:
Floating Requirements: -Floating Requirements: May be assigned to PICU, NICU, and Peds, and floating to any of the 3 specialties can occur. May also float to IU Health North Hospital
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
