Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license

Additional Details:

Candidates who have 2+ years of experience, 3 days or less RTO and who can start on date posted in the position can be auto-offered.

Hcp will be scheduled based upon need. No block scheduling. No self-scheduling.

Weekend and holiday requirements

2 weekends per month

All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies.

We are a 15-bed unit: 10 labor rooms, 5 high risk rooms.

Ratios: 1:2 women in labor 1/1 women with complications who are unstable.

Pat Pop: Direct patient care to obstetrical patients, term and low risk. Labor, preterm labor, HTN, PROM, kidney stones, IUGR, Diabetes.

Must have circulate experience: RN staff circulate C-Section. Staff does not scrub.

All RNs will be required to take and pass a “pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.

Must not have worked perm/per diem at NMMC in the last 12 months.

IVS to interview/Mgr. to Offer

Scrubs: ceil blue.
