Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: No Calls Required, Weekends Two per Month, May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period (every 4-weeks).

Required Credentials: Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring rhythm strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with open heart surgical patients

Unit Details: 38 bed unit that is staffed with RN’s, CNA’s, Critical Care Techs (CCTs) and Advanced Care Techs (ACTs).

Equipment Used on Unit: CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on all telemetry patients 24/7.

Types of Patients on Unit: Includes treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, care of the post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab procedures, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc).

Required Skills/Experience: To Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, as well Renown South Meadows.
