Additional Details:
36 hrs/week, Day/Evening, 12 hr shifts, Monday - Friday variation 0630-1900. Weekday and weekend call requirement
Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above).
Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement.
Strongest skills should be in cardiac/thoracic: ECMO, CABG(Coronary artery bypass graft), ascending, LVAD, thoracic, thoracic robot Davinci Xi, lobectomy, mitral valves, VATS, lung resection
Preferred: transplant not required if can do everything else
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: *** REQUIRED: level 1 or similar size hospitals and with high caliber of complex surgeries.
RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off).
