Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Skills checklist must be completed within the last 6 months for Application. Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Must be able to read and interpret strips

Will book 26 week contracts; 13 week contracts

Weekend Requirement: 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6 week schedule

Scheduling: Self-scheduling

Patient Population:

Oncology patients needing a surgical intervention and benign surgical patients.

Population consists of ear, nose and throat, colorectal, OB/GYN, urology, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and thoracic.

Also have patients under plastic surgeon management

All RTO must be approved prior to confirmation, no additional time off will be granted during assignment

Will be required to float to areas of equal or lesser care
