Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 60 months of Emergency Department experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must be able to mix drips, e.g. Amio, cardizem, Epi, Insulin, etc.

  • Will accept trauma level 1 & 2 ED experience.

  • RNs are required to be able to read and interpret tele and EKGs.

Unit/Facility Details:

  • Dress Code: Artificial nails are not permitted. Hair coloring must be natural colors, acceptable hair coverings should be worn if hair coloring is outside of natural color. Visible face and neck tattoos are not acceptable. Tattoos reflecting racial, nudity, or derogatory images or words must be covered.

  • References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests: Does not guarantee block scheduling; manager will ask for ideal schedule but travelers are asked to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent schedules. Manager will try to accommodate the requests of our agency nurses, however, we will not sacrifice our own staff just to accommodate a special requested schedule.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend Requirements: Every other.

  • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.

  • Call / Standby Requirement: None.
