Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

BLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

STABLE (Preferred)

RNC-NIC (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.

COVID booster required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Approximate neonate age assignment

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required (travelers may be scheduled more frequently if needed)

Call Requirement: No call

Experience:

NICU Level III experience required (list NICU levels in work history where applicable)

Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required

If no travel experience: must have experience at a large (500+ bed count) NICU teaching facility

Teaching facility experience required

Additional Information

Offer Process: IVS to OFFER

Schedule Coverage: Monday to Sunday

Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays

Scheduling Notes:

No block schedules for any reason

All work history (including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete to submit

All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Transportation:

Public transportation is NOT accessible

Reliable transportation is strongly recommended (personal or rental vehicle)

Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April
