Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Endoscopy experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of endoscopy experience or similar experience

Must be comfortable with moderate sedation administration (Versed/Fentanyl/Benadryl). Will not administer propofol.

Will not circulate cases, unless they are comfortable and want to

Would highly prefer someone who is comfortable admitting/recovering and starting IVs

Required Credentials: If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Will take moderate sedation exam once here

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Will be giving moderate sedation, admitting, and recovering. Will be assigned to a specific role for their shift

Types of Patients on Unit: All adults, no peds

Will support endoscopies and radiology (MRI and CT)

Equipment Used on Unit: IV Pump: Alaris, Med dispensing: Omnicell, EPOC – POC testing device

Unit/Facility Details:

Beds: GI – 1 anesthesia room, 2 moderate sedation rooms CT – 2 rooms MRI – 1 room 3 admit/recovery bays

Up to 15 GI procedures per day 5-6 CT procedures per day MRI case are variable

Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.

Call and Weekend Rotation

Rotating day off each week

Floating Requirements: Will float to Ridgeview Surgery Center, about 5 minutes from the hospital. This will happen about once per week. Traveler will know in advance if they will be over there.
