Additional Details:

Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum).
• However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass
• Inpatient oncology, Care of Patient With, Chemotherapy, IV Therapy/ Infusions, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred
• BMT, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Accessing/Managing Ports

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Shift & Scheduling: 13-16 week contract

Floating Requirements: To other MedSurg Oncology units
