Requirements
Experience
24 months of acute care experience within the past 3 years.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
BSN completion preferred
Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

PALS (Required)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Credentials: -Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite -Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.

Special Requests: -Block Schedules: Yes

Shift & Scheduling: -Day/Evening, 12 hour shift, 7:00am-7:30pm. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required.

Floating Requirements: -Note: May float out to NICU and general care -Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
