Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Sunrise is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Cardio thoracic post op surgery experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with cardiac drips like dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo

External pace maker experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Pericardialcentesis with drains left in place post-precedure

Thoracentesis

Chest tube insertion

Types of Patients on Unit: Mostly Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular surgical Pts, with occassional medical Progressive care patients

Equipment Used on Unit: IV pumps, Telemetry monitors, hoyer/ stand lifts, bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, chest tubes, vein finder, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/ CPAP, epicardial and transvenous pacers

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – 10

Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend.

No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to Progressive Care and telemetry
