Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Rotating shifts

Night (19:00 - 07:00)

Day (07:00 - 19:00)

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Orientation Hours: 72

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 28

Patient Diagnoses: Adult Medicine patients with a variety of acute on chronic co morbities, with a sub specialty in the management and care of Sickle Cell patients.

RTO should be included at the time of submission

Return Staff Policy: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.
