Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from last 1 month.

Experience with Epic is preferred from last 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

PCU/Med Surg/Oncology - Required

Required Certification: ONS / ONCC

Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Patient Types: Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU

Chemotherapy certified

Minimum 1 year experience as Charge RN

Patient Ratio: PCU - 1/4, MedSurg - 1/5 - It is a mixed unit

Experience: Candidates with appropriate experience oncology and trauma

PCU and Oncology Experience - Required

RNs required to titrate drips: insulin occasionally cardizem

Will float to MedSurg and PCU units

Orientation: 2 days

RTO needed upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved including after submission

Patient Population: Adults

Weekend requirements: Every other weekend
