Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 22 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)

NRP (Required)

Advanced AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience: Labor and post-partum experience

Skills: Anticoagulants, Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Circulate for C-section, Sterile vaginal exam, Facility births/month 200-300, High Risk Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, LDRP, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC), Triage of obstetrical patients, Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration

Preferred Skills/Experience: Over 2 years of experience, with precepting experience

Required Credentials: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
