Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Weekends as scheduled

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Post MI with sheath pull, ADHS, Postop vascular, GI bleed, DKA

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Typical step down type patients

RNs required to titrate drips.

Tele on all patients. RN's read strips

Block scheduling: Not promising anything. Currently working on a paper spreadsheet

Weekend Requirements Every other
