Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

PALS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year experience in Same Day Surgery, ED, or Med/Surg experience, Pre/Post CVIR, plastics, GEN, URO

• General Skills, Conscious Sedation, Telemetry, Dysrhythmia interpretation

• Pain management (narcotics/ analgesics)

• Experience with recovering: ENT/Eyes, GI, GYN, Ortho, Simple Cardiac

• Reversal agents

• Recovery from: Conscious Sedation, General, Local, MAC, Nerve Blocks

Unit/Facility Details:

• Drivers License/State ID: Copy of Passport, driver's license or government issued ID is required for each Resource on assignment

• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of booking assignment – completed no later than 5 business days

Shift & Scheduling: Monday - Friday with possibility of flexing if needed.
