Required Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
Must have Surgical experience
Must have experience caring for patients after Vascular, Thoracic, Colorectal and General Surgery
Chest tubes, Tubes, Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, Trachs/Laryngectomies, Telemetry, Complex wounds and Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis
Unit/Facility Details: Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1
Special Requests: No block scheduling.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating (12 Hour PM-AM or 12 Hour AM-PM)
Floating Requirements: Expected to float
