24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Previous Employment Requirements: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

  • Shift & Scheduling:
  • Self-scheduling; Travelers will be the last to sign up and asked to stay flexible and fill gaps in permanent staff;
  • Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend; Nights- Friday and Saturday.
  • Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.
  • Call or standby call requirement: Optional; Has a Text List for picking up shift.
  • What is call response time: 30 mins.

Special Requests: Will not accommodate Block Scheduling

Floating Requirements: Can float throughout the hospital; May be asked to float sister facilities: Nampa (14 Miles to the West), & Boise (10 Miles to the E). May be asked to float mid-shift. Notification: Minimum of 60 mins heads-up prior to the shift. What areas do they cover: ER and Inpatient, all floors.

Types of Patients on Unit: NICU Level llB, MICU, Peds, Adults, & Geriatrics; PACU treatments, overnight oximetry.

Equipment Used on Unit: RT Equipment: Drager V500, Hamilton, ReVel, V60s, Vapotherm; EPOC.

  • Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must be comfortable floating between all specialties: ICU, MICU, MS- Tele, ER, etc.

  • Able to assist Intubate

  • Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Prefer: Level II NICU and be comfortable going to deliveries and initiating Cpap. Peds in the ER; stabilized and transferred out.
