Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Required:

PALS or ENPC - They will not be the primary for a peds patient, just need to have PALS or ENPC in case there is an emergency. Will assist at times with peds, but not take a peds patient.

Proficient treating ICU and Tele patients

Proficient treating ventilated patients, post cardiac cath lab, IABP, sepsis, COPD, post op, trauma

Proficient with Tele, ability read EKG

Patient Population: All ages

Patient Types: ICU and Tele patients

Occasional peds patients such as RSV, DKA

Shift:

Could be rotating, straight, etc.

Call not required but may be asked on occasion if they would take call.

Dress Code: Scrubs - Navy Blue

Orientation: 3 shifts of orientation with ICU RN on the floor. No classroom orientation.
