Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience within the past 6 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree

Unit/Facility Details: -Unit description: Orthopedic, Med/Surg - total joint replacement patients including hip knee shoulder, spine patients, and patients who have had hip fractures. The vast majority of our patients are elective cases with 1-2 night stays

Shift & Scheduling: -Weekends/holidays: rotate every other

Floating Requirements: -Floating: float to MSO and PCU as needed
