Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Connecticut license

Additional Details:

Must scrub cardiac surgery independently & circulate

Shift: 2x12s and 2x8s per week - 7a-3:30p or 10:45a-7:15p

40 hours a week

Weekend: Two 24 hour calls per schedule

Call: 2 calls per M-F week (either 7p-11p or 7p-7a) with 1 day per week available to stay late.

Will float within scope to meet facility needs

Will not accommodate block schedules.

Dress Code: Scrubs - Provided

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Cardiac experience required in both circulating and scrubbing cardiac cases

We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel experience

Return Staff Policy: Must be gone 2 yrs to return as traveler
