Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement "Fri/Sat/Sun are all considered weekend shifts.

Nights has to work 4 weekend night shifts/4 week schedule.

Days has to work 4 weekend day shifts/4 week schedule; however, no one on this unit truly works straight days.

Anyone who works straight days is required to work a minimum of 3 night shifts/4 week schedule. The 3 night shifts do not have to be on the weekend. The only shift that is considered a straight shift is nights.

Holidays: Travelers must be flexible if they need them to work holidays; however, they don't usually have to work many holidays as they are typically covered by the perm staff.

Must be on the unit ready to go by 6:45 am/pm. Shifts run from 7a - 7p.

Floating Requirements: All staff are required to float as needed into the rotation (Tele or MedSurg) w/ ratios up to 1/6, possibly 1/7 in MedSurg (not common). Also expected to go to Pandemic Unit
