Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health nursing

Required Credentials: BERT, Team or similar

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Assessment and medication management of patients. Crisis management and de-escalation. Electronic charting. Occasional restraint/seclusion.

Equipment Used on Unit: Omnicell

Unit/Facility Details: 12 single rooms

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends, evenings and an innovative scheduled may be required.
