Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required.

ADN completion required

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Required Skills/Experience: Acute inpatient BH

Required Credentials: Either CPI or HWC to be considered

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult +18 - Acute crisis stabilization for psych disorders; ET DH & Benzo withdraw/detox

Unit Details:

Number of Beds: 81
Patient Ratios: 1:10; 1:13; 1:15; 2:20; 2:23

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: every other weekend

Floating Requirements: With in units of Behav Health Dept.
