Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience with 6 months within the past 6 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: • Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted) / NURSYS / RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Unit/Facility Details: Our Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with our critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 on all other patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
