Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with the drips (dopamine, dobutamine, versed, fentanyl), and have experience in a level 3 NICU

Types of Patients on Unit: Premature- sepsis, surgical- gastroschisis, evas, vented rarely- nasal cpap, rare oscillatory

Unit Details: 26 beds

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday
Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 Minor

Floating Requirements: First to float, to the Nursery and pediatrics (sister unit)
