Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

RN CVOR Skill Sets required:

CABG on Bypass

CABG Off Bypass

Mitral Valve or Aortic Valve replacement

Bentall

Pulmonary Embolisms

Balloon Pump and Impella

Hybrid cases for TAVR

Lung Cases | VATS/Thoracotomy procedures, Lobectomy, Decortication, Wedgy Biopsy.

Flexibility to float to other rooms when needed.

Total # of Unit: Beds/Suites/Deliveries/Procedure Rooms: 12 OR’s and a Hybrid OR.

Total # of Cases/Day: 35-40 Call will be required, and call can be heavy.

Call expectations would be 1-2, 16 hours shifts (3p-7a) weekly, and a full weekend call every 4th weekend (3p Friday-7a Monday).

OR RN; Strong large/acute care Urology, Ortho, General Surgery OR RN.

On Call

3-5 years preferred.

Charge experience Required.

Monday - Friday, no weekends. On Call 2-3 times/month.
