Travel Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Floating Requirements: Very rarely do they float to Peds because Peds floats to the NICU more often. But if they do float to Peds, they would only be given infants.

First Hill float to Peds and PICU only assigned newborns and infants and will float to Issaquah and Edmonds for NICU as needed May be assigned as a "sitter" for all units, does not require patient care when assigned as a sitter shift

Required Skills/Experience: minimum of Level III NICU for at least 2 years or 1 year at Level IV NICU

Previous Employment Requirements: All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

Special Requests: Block schedule approved if preferred yes can work 3 or more in a row

Special Procedures/Unit Details: No ECMO, CPAP/BiPap, High Frequency Vents, Oscillators, Vents, Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Cooling / Warming Blanket, Feeding Tubes, PICC/Central Lines, Syringe Pumps

Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
