Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Behavioral Health - Required

• Additional Notes: Any color scrub, Certification with Handle with Care if possible but we will train, BLS

• Weekend: Every other

• Patient Ratios: 23 patients and 2 RN, 20 patients 2 RN, 15 patients 1 RN, 13 patients 1 RN, 10 patients 1 RN

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult;

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Schizophrenia, Dementia, Manic Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Dual Diagnosis, Medical Detox, Depression and Anxiety Disorders
