Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted)

Float Requirements: Float to other units when census is low, Not expected to take any assignments, simply helping hands/watches…etc.

Must Have Skills/Experience: L&D, mother-baby postpartum, obstetrics/surgical patients, newborn nursery level I

Preferred Skillset/Experience: OB at least 2 years

Type of Patients on Unit: Labor, C-sections, Genecology surgical, postpartum, newborn nursery
