Pediatric Sleep Tech/Polysomnographic Technologist

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years PEDS and/or NICU sleep study experience.
  • Would need pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience. Can train with our Sanford team.

Required Credentials:

  • Will also consider registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

  • Performs quality diagnostic polysomnographic, as well as titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests will be performed. Records and provides relevant and accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders.

Equipment Used on Unit:

  • Computerized charting. Utilize natus software for our sleep studies.

Unit/Facility Details:

  • The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech but will have other adult sleep techs scheduled with them so that they are not alone in the building.
  • This is 2 pediatric beds.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Monday through Friday.
  • Call is not required.
  • Weekends are not required.
