Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.

Certificate completion required

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Minnesota license

Preferred Skills/Experience:

3 years experience

acute care experience preferably within critical care.

loat pool requirement from Critical Care, Cardiac ICU and IMC units.

Preference to have Critical Care experience within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor's Degree

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift Requirements :

12 hr Variables Day and Night – week rotation

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 2 out of 4 weekends, Every other holiday

No on call

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Floating Requirements: will float between critical care units - possible float to lower acuity units based on census and need
