Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Case Management experience is required.
BSN completion required
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: No weekend requirement. No on call.

Required Skills/Experience: Recent experience in case management, utilization management, or discharge planning. This role requires working off Work Queues and does not provide bedside/patient care. The primary role is obtaining authorizations with payors. This job requires the RN to be proficient with UR, payor mix, Medicare, PPO, IPA plans, delegated, full and shared risks in following up authorization based on medical necessity from admission through discharge and post dc.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. LTAC Experience.
