Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

ADN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend with possibility of needing extra Friday support

Holiday: Rotation

Float Requirements: To all ThedaCare Campuses (within 60 mile radius)

On-Call / Call Back: None

Required:

1-2+ years as M/S RN.

Must be comfortable with insulin and amiodarone drips.

Patient Types: Lower patient acuity (primarily medical patient population; No Respiratory support on NOC shift); No ICU in the Facility

Dress Code: Scrubs of any sort

Traveler must sign out phone immediately when clocking in for shift (ThedaCare uses on site IPHONES to communicate on the unit/patient safety/bed alarms/etc.)

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
