Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Stepdown Cardiac

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every Other

Call Requirements: As Needed.

Float Requirements: As Needed/ Resource Team

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Serves all ages.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Tele/ Cardiac Step-down

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Intermediate Cardiac Care Bedside and Telemetry monitoring. 20 Acute MI, ACS, Pulmonary Edema, CHF. Arrhythmia, Chest Pain Post op Carotid endarterectomy and stents Post AAA Post PCI, Interventional Cardiac Cath with Arterial lines IV infusion.

Scrub Color: Nm will connect after clearance on specifics.

Any unacceptable attire: No casual wear.

Orientation is weekly, on Mondays
