Travel Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Shift & Scheduling: One weekend call every 4-6 weeks- no other weekend requirement; will be on weekday call once every other week.

Floating Requirements: Possibly to cath lab holding

Special Requests:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience: Interventional Radiology, Cath lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER. Moderate sedation administration for procedures, must have IV start experience.

Unit Details:

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Interventional Radiology procedures can include; TIPS, vascular access, drain placement etc

Equipment Used on Unit: Philips, Siemens, GE

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

References: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Acceptable IDs: A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.
