Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

Additional Details:

PACU Inpatient Holds - Required

Required Skills / Experience: Two (2) or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Cardiac Care/Cardiac Stepdown prior to any travel assignments

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Float Pool experience

Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center)

Previous Queen’s Health System travelers

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation

Preferred Credentials: Specialty certification(s)

Shift & scheduling: 7pm - 7:30am

Holiday Coverage: Yes

No Call

Floating Requirement: All travel RNs float as needed to similar/lesser acuity areas (Telemetry, Med/Surg, ED holds, PACU holds, etc.)
