Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Chest tube and other drain management Experience
  • Post-operative open heart care experience
  • Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
  • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including: reading and interpreting cardiac rhythym strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
  • Experience with the following procedures and equipment (assisting with chest tube removal, assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices, use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems

Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical Care Experience

Required Credentials: Current and valid DL , government photo ID or passport.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend; No Call
