Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Driver's license required

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience Structural heart experience needed

Must be able to scrub

Precept as needed; (backfilling an RN that precepts)

Preferred Skills/Experience: EP experience strongly desired

Special Requests: Cannot promise blocked scheduling

Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week

On Call: every 3rd night & every 3rd weekend: 7p Friday through 7a Monday

Weekend Requirements: Call schedule

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units.

Must be willing to float across campuses if needed (minutes within one another)
