Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Rehabilitation Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Certifications

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

BLS (Required)

Proof of Identification

Driver's license required

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Med-surg, neuro, ortho, rehab, LTACH or long term care experience

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Accuchecks, Pegs, ports, piccs, trachs, IVs

Equipment Used on Unit: work stations on wheels, portable lifts, ceiling lifts, sara stedys

Unit/Facility Details: IP Rehab, Number of Beds – 64; divided on 3 floors

Special Requests: Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: No on call required, Weekends: Rotating
