Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Open Heart OR Surg Tech

Shift: 7am, 9:30am, 11am, 1pm start time based on need - Rotating weekend and holidays

Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel's assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.

Float: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel's originally assigned facility) within the Personnel's clinical competence.

We want CVOR but would need experience scrubbing other cases such as ortho, neuro, gen surgery

Required Upon Submission:

Associates Degree from Surgical Tech Program
2 years of formal in hospital experience

Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be approved prior to confirmation. Please note, holidays off will be limited to 1 of the 3 major and at the discretion of UCONN Health.
