Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

10 bed unit

Patient criteria will include: patients on continuous BiPap, vented patients (stabilized through trach only, (vasoactive drips such as amiodorone, dobutamine, dopamine, Cardizem, insulin, labetalol, Cardene, nitro, and tikosyn.

Patients can be on ONE vasopressor- more than one is needed they will transfer to ICU. ratio is 1:3 or 1:4, patients on high flow o2 >50%, DKA, STEMI after 24 hrs in ICU, dysrhythmias, fluid resuscitation, diuresis, NSTEMI if chest pain resolving and hemodynamically stable, post pacec maker/defib.

Nurses must have experience with at least some of the drips mentioned above, and be comfortable with this acuity of patients at this ratio.
