Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Min 2-3yrs experience required

In need of nurses that can recover open heart surgery patients

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Facility experience preferred

Required Credentials: Client requires all credentialing submitted 1 week prior to start

Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Types of Patients on Unit:

All open-heart patients Thoracic cases including VATS Ecmo, Impella, LVAD, IABP, CRRT MIs, and CHF

Equipment Used on Unit:

Vital signs machine Glucometer SCDs Bladder scanner Vein finder Remote tele capable Wound vacs IV pumps Pulse oximeters Chest tubes Tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo) Oxygen delivery devices

Unit/Facility Details: Centra is a teaching hospital and YOU will work and encounter students and new hires often

We expect all team members, including travelers, to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance

Shift & Scheduling: Start dates Occur every Other Monday; 10/22 starts (11/3 start needs client approval)
