Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Long Term Care experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Nevada license

Additional Details:

LTC/SNF

Common diagnosis: COPD, DM, cognitive deficits, comorbidities, etc.

Experience: Prefer experience with cognitive deficits; Need to understand how to interact with cognitive deficits and know how to redirect a person and not argue.

Are there IV's or titratable drips: None

Staffing: Days: 2 nurses and 4 cnas, Nocs:1 nurse and 3-4 cnas. Modified Self Scheduling, travelers will be asked to submit their availability, however they are asked to stay flexible and help fill gaps in permanent staffing. Schedule is not finalized until it has been balanced by the manager.

Do Not guarantee block scheduling

Weekend Requirements: Varies but typically EOW.

Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.

Call or Standby Requirement: None

Floating Requirements: To memory care unit, if needed.

Unit Specific Orientation: 1 shift of Orientation with a preceptor.
