Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license

NRP (Required)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Flu Vaccine: Medical declination is only accepted for anaphylactic shock.

Shift & Schedule: Will be working most weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon)

No call.

Rotating weekends and holidays

Will circulate C-sections.

Floating: As Needed - Post-Partum/Antepartum

Self-Scheduling: No, request will try to be accommodated

Required Skill / Experience: Should be able to start IVs and draw labs on Moms and babies

Days of Orientation: 2-3

Unit Details: Total # of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 14, LDRs/3500 deliveries per year

4 bed triage, 3 bed PACU and 3 ORs

Patient Population: High Risk OB patients, newborn stabilization, antepartum, post-partum Age Range: 12-50

Equipment Used on Unit: Alaris Pumps, Epidural pumps, SCDs, fetal monitor, infant warmer
