Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with TR Band's straight from procedure

Has experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2-5 years of Tele experience

Unit/Facility Details: TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility

THP will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, on day 3 THP will attend Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training, Day 4 Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5 THP will attend virtual Epic training if they are unable to test out

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: Every Other Required

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Will start on Monday at NEO at main campus

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units
