Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Highly prefer a candidate that is able to read and interpret Tele

Unit/Facility Details: 16 beds

Nurse patient ratio varies by shift but typically its 1/4-5 on days, 1/5-6 pm and 1/6-7 noc.

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday: Every other to every third weekend. Every other Holiday, as applicable.

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Travelers can be placed on call during low census hours in which they will get on call pay.
