RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible working weekends

Weekend Requirements: Depends on length of contract

Float Requirement:

May be required to float to providence little company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro . Mother baby

Preferred Skills / Experience: Precepting skills

Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults

Daily Census: 210-240 births per month

Number of Beds: 21

Common Diagnoses: Low and High risk labor patients antepartum with multiples, hypertensive disorders, diabetic conditions, multiple system issues. Labor patients with multiple system disorders (HTN, DM, etc.)

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

Circulate and recover cesarean sections, PP d&c

Ideal candidates would have:

Preceptor skills

Ability to Float to Postpartum/MBU

Newborn Care

Baby Friendly exp

Ability to do Non-stress Test

Set up a delivery table

Parking: Free Parking

Special Requirements:

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission.

Must disclose license/BG hits up front at time of submission

No open license hits will be approved.

Return Staff Policy: can return after 3 months.
