Travel Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

SICU/Oncology

12D/N or 12HR NIGHTS

If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

2 Years of ICU Experience Required.

Oncology experience preferred, but not required.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: • External Ventricular Drain management • ICP monitoring • Massive Transfusion Protocol • Mechanical Ventilation • Heated High Flow • Bipap • CPAP • Tracheostomy management • CRRT • Vasopressors titration

Float Required: Yes Note: Travelers may float to James MICU or UH MICU/SICU. May also float to M/S or PCU units.

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
